Businesses keen to enter the Blue Mountains Business Awards have already registered and begun answering category questions. Visit
www.bmchamber.org.au/awards and scroll down for this year's categories for this year. There are two offline categories: employee of the year, and the employee inclusion award (sponsored by Nova Employment). Both are simple, two page entries which need to reach the chamber office by close of business on September 7. Martin Wren, CEO of Nova Employment. said "we love helping people with a disability achieve the career they want". "We like to focus on the ability of our potential employees rather than their disability and work together with business owners to help integrate them into the workplace. The inclusion award acknowledges employers who have done just that."
The Blue Mountains Business Awards are presented by Blue Mountains Regional Business Chamber. Seven of the categories are aligned with the NSW Business Chamber Awards, so winners will have an automatic place in the state final s.
These categories are young entrepreneur (age 18-35). business leader (age 35+), excellence business ethics. excellence in innovation. excellence in sustainability, excellence in small business and employer of choice.
